After Impacted Tooth

When there is not enough room to accommodate the space in the dental arch, a tooth becomes impacted and growth becomes impossible. Mild discomfort and some swelling is expected after removing an impacted tooth, but this should not alarm you. You should use cold compresses to help the swelling. Additionally, your doctor will prescribe pain medication, which should be taken as directed. We also advise patients to favor the extraction area and modify their diet for a few days, in order to allow healing.
